Baked Cheezy Meaty Italian Bread!! (Roti John)

Wow!! Thats a mouthful. This is actually Roti John. Don't ask me how the name came about because am not sure. If I may make a guess, perhaps a person by the name John made this recipe many donkey years ago..

Anyway, instead of frying the bread, which I could do by cutting it into three sections per side of the bread, I decided to bake it. It's much more healthier to bake than to fry. The recipes already written here, this is a video on how I prepare this food.

Enjoy!!!

Final look baked Spinach meaty Borek

Last night, I decided to make Borek. I did put up pictures of this a few months ago but I didn't write the recipe. The recipe ingredients are easy. All you need for this borek:

1) Ground beef (cooked)
2) Shallots slice thickly
3) Spinach (fresh cut into three lengths)
4) chilli paste
5) Vietnamese/Thai Chilli (small ones cut into small pieces or pound them)
6) Salt and pepper
7) feta cheese (which I forgotten to add into my borek)
8) egg wash (3 eggs+almond milk)
9) Filo dough (4 layers, then 6 layers)
10) hemp seed (1 tbsp optional)
11) casserole dish pan or aluminum foil pan
12)minced garlic (1 or 2 tbsp)
13) Other spices to your taste

Cook the meat first Saute the onions 2nd

Saute the spinach 3rd

For the methods on how to do this, please watch my video. You can change any part of the ingredients to your own taste or your own desire.

Final layered Borek

It's so yummy!!! Once it baked, you have to cut it while it's hot then let it remain in the oven with the oven temp. turn off.

Anyway, enjoy the meal!! If you have any questions, just write it in my comment form below. Thank you for reading and watching!!!
