Casserole Again!!!

This time I made it with ground beef. Oven at 375F degrees. Baked it at 40 minutes covered with aluminium foil.. The method to bake this is similar to tuna fish casserole, therefore, I reckon I don't really need to put up the recipe here again!!...

It's a delicious meal. I ate it with homemade coleslaw and mediterranean olives. I just bought the ready made sliced coleslaw at the commissary and just add peppers and mayo (it can be sandwich ones).

Quinoa

Ever heard of quinoa??? It's my meal tonight.. It's a healthy meal which when cook looks like barley but it's a grain full of proteins. Quinoa is great if you tend to have migraine or headaches and it's the food of the incas.

Later in the future, I'll make a video on how to cook quinoa. If you find that rice is too heavy a meal try eating quinoa.. It's very light and has a nutty taste. I tried eating quinoa yesterday with vege balls soup and fried eggs.. and salad.. It's yummy and delicious..

Hope y'all give quinoa a try. You can find quinoa at any wholefood market or health food market. Happy healthy eating!!!

Package from Mom

Yippeee!!! This was in my mail today!! I love opening package from my mom.. It's like a present to me... I love it!!! and I love my mom too.. for sending this package to me.. One thing I love about my family back home.. they never force me to do anything that I don't want to do, and they never matchmake me with anyone since my husband passed away.. I appreciate the things they have done for me and for being understanding too and for loving me in their own way.. *hugs*

I am happy by myself at this moment. Loneliness strikes me once awhile but thats inevitable in every man's/woman's life.. To all my friends.. please don't try to matchmake me because it gets very annoying at times.. Although I didn't really say it outloud.. All you can do.. just be a friend.. it would meant a whole lot more than anything else...

Anyway, I've divert from the topic.. now, thank you mom for sending this package.. I'm going to use the ointments right away!!!

German/Dutch Pancake (Ebelskiver)

German Pancake

Today I decided to make this pancake. I've been wanting to make this German pancake since I bought the pancake mix and the pan but I'm just too lazy to do it. Anyhow, the ingredients that you required to make this pancake is the pancake mix called Ebelskiver, you can get this at Williams-Sonoma Store. I am not sure if you can use the pancake mix from Food Lion, I've not try that yet perhaps I would one day and let y'all know how it turns up.

Fried Rice with Spicy Chicken

This was my meal last week I reckon. It was a delicious meal. I tried to marinate the chicken with Hot and Honey Spicy BBQ sauce. It carmelize the chicken and make it so tasty. I use chicken wings here, you could use any part of the chicken if you like/desire.

The rice was fried, and the recipe was put up here in my blog under fried rice. Mostly, I use chilli paste because I feel that chilli paste gave it a kick!!! and I also use Mexicorn. You could use fresh veges if you like. It so happen that I've got plenty of canned veges so I prefer to not waste things and just use them.

Anyhow, enjoy the view and have a spicy day everyone!!!

How I keep my figure.. (Smoothie Drink)

People been asking me how I keep my figure and looking young at my age (hmm in my late 30s). I do exercise everyday.. normally low impact workouts which helps to tone my muscles as I can't do high impact exercises..

Besides working outs at home on my Gisele everyday, I drink this hempshake.. It's a protein drink, and it really doesn't make me hungry though.. I can go without eating for half a day once I drink this in the morning or in the evening... Besides hempshake, I drink plenty of water to hydrate my skin and to detoxify my body.. I also eat plenty of veges and fruits (antioxidant kinds)...

This regime which I've been doing for almost 2 months now.. really help to heal my skin problems and clear up my skin and make it more supple and dewy.. I also take fish oil everyday... Anyway, all this helps to heal my body and skin and keep me healthy at my age..

There's an old saying.. what you eat will make u what you are.. Garbage in garbage out.. so if you eat good healthy food, it will show in your outlook..

So I hope this informative enough..
